Hi friend 👋

This summer we've been busy making it easier (and faster) to build on Farcaster — with better search, more mini app tools, new APIs, and big strides in Neynar AI.

Let's dive in.

## 🔍 Cleaner search & discovery

### 1\. Spam Filtering in Cast Search & Metrics

Cut the noise in your data. Add the x-neynar-experimental header to filter spam from search results and metrics.

### 2\. Find Twitter/X Users on Farcaster

Quickly see if someone on X is on Farcaster.

→ [Lookup API](https://kpjqho.fk96.fdske.com/e/c/01k2yjgzjqfqdj5yxvjkqv4hta/01k2yjgzjqfqdj5yxvjy9daf8a)

### 3\. Quote Casts API

Fetch all quote casts of any cast — great for tracking commentary and engagement.

→ [Docs](https://kpjqho.fk96.fdske.com/e/c/01k2yjgzjqfqdj5yxvjkqv4hta/01k2yjgzjqfqdj5yxvjydfga0z)

### 4\. Pro Subscription Data in User Objects

Every user object across our APIs now includes Farcaster Pro status.

## 📲 Mini app tools & updates

### 1\. Notification Campaigns + Metrics

Create campaigns in the Dev Portal, track delivery rate, open rate, and unique opens. Use these metrics to improve styles and boost performance.

### 2\. NFT Minting via REST

Pass a user's FID to mint NFTs directly — no Solidity, nonce management, or wallet lookups required.

### 3\. Mini App Starter Kit Improvements

- Now deployed as a live mini app so you can try it before cloning.
- Automatic light/dark mode switching.
- Built-in Share component that tags a user's best friends via our new Best Friends API.
- Back button & optional haptics now included.

### 4\. SIWN in Mini Apps + Branded Signers

Get permissions without leaving your app, and show “Sent from [your brand]” instead of Neynar.

## 💸 Crypto & payments

### 1\. x402 Micropayments for APIs

All Neynar APIs now support USDC microtransactions — no API key or login required. Perfect for AI agents.

### 2\. Cloud Transaction API

Send tokens to multiple FIDs in one API call — no wallet addresses or chain interaction needed.

→ [Docs](https://kpjqho.fk96.fdske.com/e/c/01k2yjgzjqfqdj5yxvjkqv4hta/01k2yjgzjqfqdj5yxvjkc2vp1fb)

## 🛠 Webhooks & infra updates

### 1\. Incident Update

We resolved a rare webhook delivery failure (~1% of cases) caused by an upstream provider. Only @noiceapp was impacted.

### 2\. Webhook Filtering by Neynar Score

Reduce backend noise and infra costs by setting quality thresholds.

→ [Scoring docs](https://kpjqho.fk96.fdske.com/e/c/01k2yjgzjqfqdj5yxvjkqv4hta/01k2yjgzjqfqdj5yxvjvkdd84aw4)
