• Onboarding new users with one, simple API call: Soon, Base App will use Neynar to deploy an Optimism smart wallet, create a Farcaster account and register user profile in one REST API call to create a smooth user onboarding flow. Neynar handles all onchain transactions creating an instantaneous onboarding process without the user having to pay protocol fee or understand the underlying technical details.

• APIs powering seamless social experiences: Base App leverages Neynar to hydrate casts directly in users’ home and channel feeds, instantly fetch detailed user profiles, map follower and following graphs, and handle real-time conversations and replies. Our work on latency and reliability ensures that each interaction feels seamless, instantly responsive, and deeply integrated into the wallet experience.

• Real-Time notifications: Neynar’s Kafka streaming capabilities and mini app host notifications stack deliver instantaneous notifications across Base App’s client and mini-app ecosystem. Protocol actions show up as notifications on Base App, as well as mini app developers can send notifications to mini app users across multiple Farcaster clients.

• Advanced analytics with Parquet pipelines: Base App employs Neynar’s Parquet pipelines.This integration powers the app’s reward systems, analytics, and personalized user experiences - allowing Base App to incentivize meaningful interactions and valuable community contributions.

• Filtering noise, elevating quality with Neynar user scores: Base App leverages Neynar scores to filter out spam and noise across Farcaster integration - from notifications to replies under a conversation.

• Trending mini apps: Base App uses Neynar APIs to show mini apps by category as well as mini apps trending in the last hour, giving mini app developers great ways to get discovered and get new users.
